- Feedback submissions (up to 50 entries)
- Newsletter signup emails (up to 1,000 entries)
This data remains on your device and is not automatically transmitted to our servers unless you are using an account with cloud sync enabled.
b. Cloud Storage
If you create an account, your data may be stored in our cloud database. This includes:
- Account credentials and authentication tokens
- Dog profile data
- User preferences and settings
c. Application Hosting
Server logs generated during your use of the application may include IP addresses, request timestamps, and general usage data.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
a. Cookies
PurkPack does not currently use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Website. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system may issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website. b. Web Beacons
Pages of our Website and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
c. Local Storage
We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your preferences and data locally on your device. This data is not shared with third parties unless you use cloud sync features.
d. Analytics
Analytics tracking is disabled by default. If analytics are enabled in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect the specific data collected and the services used.

- How We Collect It – We request your location through your browser's geolocation API with high-accuracy mode enabled. Your browser will always ask your permission before sharing your location.
- What We Collect – Precise latitude and longitude coordinates.
- How to Opt Out – You can deny the browser's location permission prompt at any time. You can also manually enter a ZIP code or city name instead of using geolocation. You may revoke location permissions through your browser settings.
8. Data Retention
- Local Data – Data stored in your browser's localStorage persists until you clear your browser data or manually delete it within the application. There is no automatic expiration.
- Cloud Data – Account and profile data stored in our cloud database is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
- Email Data (MailChimp) – Your email address and subscription data are retained by MailChimp until you unsubscribe or request removal.
- Weather Data – Weather API responses are cached in memory for up to 10 minutes and are not permanently stored.
9. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

- Email Data – You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email, or by contacting us to request removal from MailChimp.
d. Opt-Out of Communications
You may opt out of newsletter and marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
e. Location Permissions
You may revoke location access at any time through your browser settings.
13. Your State Privacy Rights
